Time flies very fast. After my visa was approved, there's jus 3 weeks left before i leave msia to uk...
Now, there's only two weeks left...
There's a lot plans in my mind now...But due to the time limit, i can only go for few trips: Redang island, sunway lagoon trip wif my kt gang, Malacca (if possible) for makan and visit my relatives there...
I wanted to go to penang but i am not allowed to do so due to the time limit again. I am a very lousy malaysian coz i went to every state in peninsular include perlis and kedah except penang. I don hav relative at penang la!
I went to Kuala selangor for seafood and fireflies last two days!Seafood and fireflies both were very awesome! My friends, u all should not miss them!It was a last-minute decide, and i was lucky enough to have sim wee who volunteered to become my tour guide and brought us to kuala selangor. We drove to her house at Klang and she ride on our car =) She is very familiar with every road in kuala selangor as her grandmother is staying there...
We went to a restaurant called "Kuala Selangor Restaurant" which is quite isolated. Normally, people who not staying at Kuala selangor, will jus go to the restaurant beside the big road with the normal dishes only. But this "Kuala selangor restaurant" is very special if compared to normal restaurant in Kuala Selangor, is much much better with its reasonable and delicious dishes...It is on stilt by the river and if you go there around 7pm, you can watch the sunset.
Too bad, i din bring along my camera and took some pics of the dishes...=(((((((
If you do not know what to order, they have set meals of about ten dishes for 6 to 10 pax.Crab - Kam Heong, dry curry, sweet and sour, roast etc.Prawn - lai leau, drunken, steam etcFish - steam with ginger, teochew, soya bean paste, sweet and sour etc.Mussels - same as crab.Calamari (sotong) - deep fried
Apart from that, fireflies at Kuala Selangor is one of the major selling point of the state of Selangor. Witness the spectacle of thousands of fireflies lighting up the trees along the river, reminiscent of a twinkling Christmas tree.
After hopping onto the boat, we were told to sit quietly and enjoy the soothing sounds from the jungle. We were somehow fascinated by "strange" animal and insect sounds, so unlike the sounds in the city. I was afraid that there's any crocodile in river and turn over our boat. I kept thinking of the the crocodile movie, Black water which was based on true story! DAMN! Whoever make noise or Flash their camera will get fined rm500! Torches flashes are forbidden too because that would disturb the fireflies.
Ten minutes downriver, fireflies began to appear, twinkling like Christmas lights. From our distance, Up close, the individual flashing of light can be observed, as the male fireflies via each other for the attention of female fireflies.
After half an hour, the boat trip was completed. Last two years, i went to the firefly park too...The fireflies are reducing if compared to previous years...Yesterday, when i flipped through the newspaper, an article caught my attention.
Click this!I am quite disappointed with malaysian who never appreciate this special tourist place! No more fireflies in six months? So, my friends who are interested to watch fireflies, go b4 they are going to extinct!
