Before our EOS, i went to the hospital klang to clerk case wif my partner.
My clinical case is about a patient who has the main problem, congestive cardiac failure, and other problems such as pneumonia, hypertension and diabetes mellitus...I really sympathized with her, as she is quite old but was diagnosed wif so many diseases. She looked very pale and weak laying on the bed.
We went through a lot troubles during clerking case, eg the hand-writing of the doctor which i couldn't read at all. Luckily the pretty young doctor (graduated from imu) and nurses helped us to complete our task.
Overall, hospital attachment was quite fun, and i gained a lot information which i would not be able to learn in the books.
I really appreciate my senior's help in completing my slide. My partner and i was squeezing brain so hard as we didn't know much about the pharmacare issues. Suddenly, i thinked about my senior, su keat who had graduated and worked as pharmacist in hospital. I called him and he explained to me a lot things which i didn't understand. I really appreciated his help in completing my slides.
After the EOS, i did the clinical case presentation today...I was quite nervous as i'm the first one who present. My partner and i were very nervous about the Q&A part. We were able to answer most of the questions except the question about antibiotic. After my presentation, i listened to other presentations. Some of their presentations were so interesting and they could really come out a lot pharmcare issues.
The presentation was a good experience to train me giving speech in front of so many ppl. I should start to brush up my english too =.=
